Windows device driver information for Actiontec Gateway
This is a wireless modem from the Action Tec team that has a part number of GE20400001. The is a gateway device type that has no inbuilt device. The gateway unit is driven by a html firmware resident that configures without installing it into the operating system. It has been designed with an onboard 4 port standard 10/100 hub that is supported by a 10 base T Ethernet port. It has two PCMCIA standard slots that are of type 2 that are used for installation of a wireless PC card. The gateway modem was tested using wireless 802.11 b – 11Mbps with Ethernet PC card that are sold separately from the modem. The wireless PC card gives one the ability to converge wireless media from the network. the PC card is an addition to give the modem better ability to converge data with a10/100 wireless 11Mbps setup.

The Gateway is compatible with Microsoft windows from version 98 to Windows vista. It has an external form factor that has four quantity ports that support wired connectivity technology. It does not support any video input format but it has a data transfer rate of 100 Mbps that is faster than the previous version. It is compatible with both fast Ethernet and the normal Ethernet. It has a transport protocol of UDP/IP, TCP/IP L2Tp and PPTP type. It has a remote management protocol of SNMP, HTTP and Tel net protocol that is supported by a half duplex and full duplex communication mode. It comes with status indicators for power, link activity, port duplex and collision status. It has no optical, storage and floppy drive processor. The interface and expansion slots can be expanded with 2x PC Card type II and 4 x network node Ethernet 10 base t/100 base TX- RJ 45-4 but has no connection slots. It is highly recommended you run a free registry scan for Windows and Actiontec Gateway errors before installing any driver updates.
